    Default need help please --> newbie

    woo hoo!!! first post!!

    my problem : a cousin of mine asked me to print pictures of her party, but all she has is a dvd video of it. i don't know what to do . is there a program that i can get so i can capture still photos from a video and print it? i thought it was as easy as pause and print.

    Windows Movie Maker has a "frame capture" button that you can use, underneath the screen by the play button

    but don't expect top notch pictures for printing.

    DVD resolution being of the order of (cos I can't remember the exact number off hand ) 700 x 500 and reasonable photo-print resolution being of the order of 300dpi you are only going to get small prints.
