Thread: Importing/Converting AC3 and MV2 for Premiere 6.5 URGENT!!!

    Default Importing/Converting AC3 and MV2 for Premiere 6.5 URGENT!!!

I have ripped my dvd and have one AC3 (6 channel Dolby Digital) file and four M2V (video) files. My Premiere 6.5 locks up every time I try to import the M2V files. It also does not recognize the AC3 file, so I can't import that.

I need to split out the AC3 file into six files, one for each audio channel, and convert the resulting files and the four M2V files into formats that Premiere can read. How can I do this?

I have to have this project done ASAP so any advice would be great!

Why are you importing the files to Premiere? What is your intended use of the ripped DVD. This question may be better suited to DVDhelp.com which has more users that practice the grey are of DVD "back-up".
