    Default Does vegas have 'fill color' feature like in premiere?

    hey, in premiere's motion settings theres a box where it lets u fill the background with any color. Does vegas have something similar to that?

    If it's a track of solid colour you want, add a track and go Insert - Media Generator - Solid Colour. Gradients etc available too.

    Not only does the Media Generator trick work, but you can also use the eyedropper tool in it to match a color or colors from the clip.

    The track with the Media Generator must be below the video track or it will block everything under it. You can also make some interesting effects by setting the opacity at something under 100%.

    hey thx for all the replies.

    maybe this will help, i have an effect like this


    except i wanna make the spotlight move across the video. only problems is that when it does, it looks like this

    in premiere u could easily fill it with color.

    so im wondering is this possible in vegas?

    PLace your solid colour track ontop of the winter shot, then apply a mask to the solid colour media and fether it - animate the position of the mask using keyframes
