Default Loss of Resolution using Captured In-Game Footage

I have captured in game footage from World of Warcraft.

its in widescreen resolution 1900x1200 and everytime i try to put the footage together in a progamme it results in the quality being seriously reduced and the resolution reduced.

I am looking for software that will allow me to keep the resolution and quality and add titles/music.

    Any help appreciated!

I've never used a widescreen monitor, but did you try fraps?

I think it works with W.O.W
