    Talking Where to get lower thirds?

    I need a good source for lower thirds. ( free if possible ) If any one has any they want to share that would be great.

    That sometimes interesting (or annoying) graphic running across the lower third of newscast screens. Typically packed with side scrolling headlines, or several 'Hot News' leader text.

    System - Athlon 1.4GHz, Win98, Hauppauge PVR250 receiver and compressor.
    Software -Magix Movie Edit Pro 10, Nero 6 + NeroVision Express, Moho 4.61, PSP 8.1, Bryce, Quicktime 6.52 pro, Goldwave 5, DVD-Lab.
    Cameras - Panasonic GS9, Canon ES8400V, Canon EOS D20 and Canon A70

    You get these with production/and presentations systems, rather than with editing software - I've got these on Visual Communicator, and use it quite frequently to add background data under a to-camera presentation. They're popular with satellite and cable news feeds.

    You learn something new every day, now I know what it's called it can be done in Vegas. I'll dig around for the veg file for you.

    If anyone can find a plug in for this I will marry them, the way I do it at the moment is by scrolling a long jpeg, too fiddly really.

    I know how to do it vegas, just the plain boring ones. I was wanting something flashy. I just make a solid or mixed color, use gradient, track motion.

    Couldn't find the Veg file I was after but if memory serves me correct it was the same way as mark said, by scrolling Jpegs. Sorry.
