    Default Vegas Movie Studio 4.0a

I am currently trying to burn my first DVD using a project from Vegas and using the "make movie" option to transfer into Architect 2.0. My first attempt resulted in jumpy video in architect and no sound after the first 10 seconds of the 1 hour long video. I used all defaults and did not change any render settings when i did all this.

I have looked at the product support knowledge base which suggests doing a seperate render for video and audio. Thats where I am at right now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My wife expected this video footage from a vacation to be done a year ago!!

I would ditch the make movie option and simply open DVDA independently. Then import the file and see what happens. There may be some glitch between the two. Or did you already try that?

    Default half figured out...

I rendered the audio file seperately, created a .pca file and used that. My video file is still jumpy, should i render it into an Mpeg2 format instead?

When you click "file", "render as" a dialog box opens. pick "main concept mpeg-2" on templete chose "DVD NTSC" ( you are U.S based??) and the following will show up in the descripion. "Use this setting to create an MPEG-2 file with an NTSC DVD-compliant video stream, and an MPEG layer 2 audio stream."

    hope this helps
