    Default colour extraction

    Hi guys

I have a student that would like to her horror film to be black and white with only the red of the blood visable. How is this done in Premier pro 1.5 please?

    cheers

this is easy.. simply use the 'colour pass' effect. select red to be the colour you want to show. and thats it... the red blood will show and everything else will be black and white, that is providing nothing else is red in the shot..

All I would add to the correct answer before is that you will need to apply the filter to each clip in turn. Or you can add the sequence into another sequence and then apply it once to the whole thing.

If there is anything red in themovie that you wish to leave B&W you will need to apply a garbage matt so the extra bits are ignored.
