Ok, you know how the tv chanels have their little logo over the screen?

I'm doing a project in school and we are going to have a news scene, and I want to know how I might be able to add an image like that over the video.

It's very easy if you have Studio Plus.
It can be done in the standard version too, but you'll have to use that logo as an overlay title (!) to have it on a separate track.

I'm in the process of aquiring Plus right now, is it straight forward enough I should be able to figure it out?

There's no big deal. Check out the Studio manual, it's the same for all versions and should give you a clue about working with S+ even before you buy it.
