ok, so i finally got the courage to make the jump from win movie maker to adobe premiere pro... i guess it more of a flight then a jump.

all i have to say is wow! its a amazing program. i love the gain control on the sound... and the speed control. you know all the newbie stuff you don't have in wmm.

but can anyone recomend a good guide for premiere?

    Default Guides

Premier pro bible has a useful tutorial disc. It goes from basic to fairly advanced techniques
    Many Thanks

Speed control in Premiere pro? You must be joking right? This is the one area where Premier pro falsl behind the others. If you go Adobe (and nothing wrong with that!) then you either need a plugin like Twixtor or you need After Effect 7 to do speed control properly.

The manual that came with it is good. Also, have a look at the 'Studio Techniques' book. I found that good too.

It's a hard thing to actually do but do spend time working through the manual that came with it. It really is time well spent in the long run.

well, i've run into a problem. i believe my computer is way to slow to for adobe premiere. The sequence video window plays way to slow to actually do any acurate editing.

if anyone know what the problem could be other then my pc sucks, it would be apreciated.

oh ya... everything i can turn off is off through the task manager.
