    Default Burning DVD problem. Help!

After rendering my video for DVD burning, I put a DVD-R disc in but an error message is telling me the disc is not empty or there is no disk in the device.
The disc is a TDK type. My DVD writer is a Liteon. The programme I'm using is Ulead Videostudio 8.
I have been using TDK DVD+RW disc which have been OK but now can't write to them at all. I think there's a limit as to how many times you can RW to the disc, so perhaps that's why it's stopped and as for the DVD-R one, maybe it's incompatible with my drive. I just don't know. I'm still new to all this.

That sounds like your DVD drive can't handle DVD-R. You should be able to look up the specs online if you can get the model number. Go to Control Panel > System > Device Manager > CDROM. That should show the model info.
