    Default Attaching widescreen (1440 x 900) monitor

I'm planning to add a widescreen monitor to my set up (already have a 4:3 monitor and a Dell CRT, but looking to replace the Dell). However, my Radeon 9250 graphics card does not offer 1440 x 900 as an option. It's been suggested I look at PowerStrip http://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/ps.shtm. Has anyone had any experience of it?

Well, thanks Mark - I think... What did you use it for?

Further investigation has led me to believe there is a possibility that I may be worrying unnecessarily, because the ATI Catalyst driver may automatically detect supported resolutions from any device plugged into the card. This makes sense, because the dropdown lists it gives me for each of the two monitors I currently have are very different - thus, I'm guessing that, if I attach a monitor with a native 1440 x 900 resolution, that resolution will automatically be supported by the graphics card. Is there anyone geeky out there who can confirm this theory?
