    Default Burn SVCD's using Encore?

Is it possible to burn SVCD's using Adobe Encore? I want to use CD's to test out various titles and effects but don't want to got to the expense of using DVD's until everything is looking right.

If it did, you would have to transcode the MPEG2 to meet SVCD standards or it wouldn't play on a stand alone machine. You also wouldn't get quite the same level of functionality.

I normally use send a signal to the TV via my camcorder to check what the video looks like on a TV. To test the menus et al, I just preview it on the monitor.
