    Default Lightmeters

    Hiya guys

Just wondering if any of you out there use lightmeters when shooting. Do they make a great difference? Can you reccommend a good model? how exactly do they work in corolation with the video camera?

    Cheers

Light meters are irrelevant for video because you can set the correct exposure and see the result immediately in your viewfinder or monitor - something you could never do with film and another reason why film is dead.

    Thanks GentleGiant

To be honest I thought this to be the case. I read an interview with Robert Rodriquez that suggested that he used lightmeters in a digital setup. Having re-read the article is is very badly written but he was infact reffering to film.

    Thanks for clearing that up
