Default Vegas and real time hardware.

I think I know the answer is no but can vegas use any hardware acceleration? I mean cards like the matrox rt100 and canopus dv500.

Hmm, didnt think so... Arse. Looks like I might have to learn a new editor as I am doing more work and getting really pissed with rendering everything.

Any thoughts on the most vegas like editor that will use hardware acceleration.

To be honest, most NLEs have realtime previews providing your CPU et al are up to the job... and encoding flies on such machines...

Hmm, I think i misunderstood, I tht that 'real time' cards would cut out any rendering, not just speed up preview.

I am not fussed if all they do is preview speedup as I can easily work round this.

You won't have to render to preview, but then again for most effects I don't have to render to preview in AP1.5.

Yea, I just thought I had found a way to drastically cut render times.
