Thread: How do you make a gradual slow motion in premire 6.5?

    Default How do you make a gradual slow motion in premire 6.5?

    i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to do a sort of gradual slow motion were the clip get slower and slower, and vise virsa, instead of just goin straight into the slow motion

    Someone asked this a loooooooooong time ago. There's not "actual" facility to do this in premiere, so you have to create a work around. One idea (I believe by mrlipring), was to delete frames at decreasing/increasing intervals. The other idea is to cut your video up into chunks, then speed up the clips successively (+10% in clip 1, +12% in clip 2 etc etc),

    Apart from what Marc said the other method of speed ramping would be to use a third party plugin such as reelsmart's twixtor, although this aint cheap and is fiddly to use but can give top results.
