    Default Sony HD

I am interested in buying a new camcorder, i kinda had my eye on the Sony HDR-HC1, anyone have any experience with it? im not very familiar with HD camcorders and i was wondering if this was a good HD camcorder to get to experiment with. im just looking for great quality in my videos and i was wondering if HD is the way to go?

Not seen or used it myself but found this review that might be a good read for you.

And, for the record, it doesn't matter here but to some people it can make the world of difference. The camera is HDV not HD. very different things.

    What's the difference?

Is the FX1 HD or HDV?

I wrack my brain on other stuff too much. I can't keep this stuff straight.

    My FX1 is HDV.

As for the difference, all technical details, too much for this late at night. Maybe someone else has a good link.
