Default Downloading from Digicam to laptop

I would like to download from my new JVC camcorder model GR-DX27 to my Aspire 3000 laptop. I have bought two different leads from PC World and taken both back because they do not fit!

I don't seem to have a firewire port on my laptop, where can I get one and what do I have to ask for?

    AND IS EASY TO DO!!!!!!

You can buy a "PCMCIA firewire card" from PCWorld or any other computer retailer and bingo you can download to your laptop. You will probably need a 4 to 6 pin firewire cable.

    Hope this helps
