    Hello
    where would i find out how to put a 50MB mpeg2 video on to my homepage by compressing it to say 5MB.
    i have windows media encoder but it wont do it - says something about missing codec.

    Yes, you need a copy of the mpeg2 codec, not sure where a free version is, have a google.

    MPEG-2 codecs are unfortunately not free, but with the 30-day trial of TMPGEnc you can do your job.
