    Default Use DeShaker with 16:9??

    Hi peeps,

    My first post here!

    This is my problem:
When I record in widescreen-mode, import to Premiere Pro, it has no problems.
But when I use virtuadub (with or without de-shaker) it creates a 4:3 file, with black bars on the left and right side...
The only way I can get virtuadub right is to use Direct Stream Copy, but then it doesn't uses the DeShaker plug-in...

I hope somebody can help me out here!

Cant you just unstreach, or crop the file in the editor? Also I find that the deshaker filter in v dub is pretty useless, it ruins the picture quality if there is much amplitude in the movement. If you are troubled by camera movement I suggest getting one of those on the cheap prtetend stedicam pendulum things, or making one, or getting a shoulder mount camera.

I find attatching a closed up tripod to my camera and then holding the t pod at the balance point gives a sort of stedicam effect but it is very tiring to do for long.
