    Default Video Problem

    i am new at the digital photography. I bought a Kodak 6490 DX it takes still and video. I can get my stills out to disk, but i can't get my video out it has a extion of ( MOV.) A message comes up( unsupported Media type) Please help in laymen terms

    Get yourself a copy of Apples Quicktime 6 or 7 or whatever the most uptodate version is at the moment and you won't have to convert the file to .avi or .mpeg either. Conversion may be needed if you are going to edit it and depending on what software you are using it may or may not accept .mov files. Premier and I think Premier Elements can both handle .mov files whereas some of the other editors can't.

    Vegas can edit movs, in case that is of any help.
