    Default strange sound problem

    lo,

have spent a while working on a dvd of my holiday. most of footage is overlaid by music - but some natural sound included.

when watching on pc - sound is fine. when i've exported to DVD - natural sound becomes really crackly - like there's a lot of wind in the camera.

i'm going to try exporting at a higher quality - but i ain't that hopeful.

    any suggestions?

figured i'd reply to my own post, now that i've figured it out : )

all that was happening was that the sound was distorting. if you get this problem - goto Window - Audio (to change the set up to the audio mixer) - in premiere pro.

you can then reduce the gain (not volume) of tracks (at certain points if you use keyframes) - thereby fixing it.
