    Default Digital noise removal

    Hi All
Im pretty new to video editing and have been getting to know Adobe Premier Pro 1.5. I have some DV footage that has been shot in low light and consequently exhibits some digital noise. Is there anything in Premier Pro that can reduce this effect?

    Thanks in anticipation.

errrr, digital noise is much different from vhs analog noise, theres tons of filters out there for that, but digital noise is a tuff one

Yes i've been doing a bit of searching but not found much. Just to clear up, by digital noise I mean the grainyness that becomes apparent when shooting in lowlight conditions.

Magic Bullets comes with a video artifact filter. Not great to be honest. You could try duplicating the layer and applying a blur effect with the opacity set to 50% or so.
