    Default DVD menu creation_Help Required!

Hi guys, I have used Adobe Premiere Pro to create a DVD for my sister's engagement party. Now I only have limited time to create a Wedding DVD for my friend which I spent 3 hrs filming. The problem is the footage is longer this time so I need to create a menu with chapters. I cannot find any instructions on how to create a menu in Adobe Premiere Pro. However, I read up on Adobe Encore DVD and menu creation. What is the difference between these two programs? Which one is better for video editing? Can I create the menu in Encore DVD and paste it in Premiere Pro? Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Adobe Premiere Pro is to edit your videos and Encore is to make the Menu's for your videos that you edited with Preimere Pro. Each program works well with each other so yes, you can edit the video with Premiere Pro and use Encore to create the Menus for your edited video.

Aboves all true but you still have to export as MPG2. Allso you can use photoshop to create better photos. Thats how I go about doing the stuff I am asked to do by genreal public/friends.

Agreed. That's the beauty of Encore to me. The menus are really just PSD files to be editted in Photoshop.

but to recap for our original poster....

Premiere is to edit your video. Encore is to build DVDs. Seperate software packages for seperate jobs. At least in the 'pro' World it is.

Something like Premiere Elements does both in one package.

    I hope this clarifies it.
