HDD to TV
My question is a sorta strange one, but if someone can help me out that would be great.
Is it possible to connect an external hard drive to a TV using some software on it and a usb to s-video cable?
For example i have mpegs and avis on my external hard drive which connects to my PC via USB 2.0 would it be in anyway possible to get a cable and software to connect it directly to my TV?
I don't think so...
There are however portable hard-disk video players, pretty expensive and useless if you ask me.
Ive heard of cables that come straght out of the video card.....
What D-sub? I am talking special cables. S-video cables to sperm..oh no sorry i mean scart.

No. You would need something to decode the video, which essentailly means additional hardware. You can however buy "harddrives" that have built in support for video out.
