Default Burning Problem - HL-DT-ST DVD RAM GSA-4163B

I've got problem with burning DVD's with my LG burner. It's seems to be unable to record single files, e.g. mp3 collection straight from folder on my hard drive. I'm using Nero 6. Nero starts to burn files and after about 40 - 50 % the buffer goes empty for a second, than it fills again and, although burning process continues, it seems to never become completed - I left pc on for whole night in order to check what will happen. And in the morning there was no progress at all. what is strange is that Nero burns DVD Images easily. Have anyone met with such problem? is there any possible way to resolve it?

    my PC is:
    AMD Duron 1600 Mhz
    256 mb RAM
    Windows XP Pro
DirectX 9.0c and all drivers updated lately

    regards,

I would advise you to reinstall Nero, or even Windows. I use the very same DVD burner and have never had this issue, so I reckon it might be a software problem.

Please make sure Nero's cache folder(your C:/ drive) has enough free space to hold your completed movie. Otherwise change it to another drive. I faced the same problem.

If it really matters to you, it's way better than mine...
