Default Replacing an already edited file

    Hi

Is it possible to replace a video file used in the timeline with another of the same name and lenght (but not the same size in mb) .
My question is, will premiere keep all the cuts done on the video?

    Thanks

In my experience this is not possible. If you rename a clip to one already in the timeline, Premiere will say it doesn't match - but then you could always try I guess if it's exactly the same length etc, Premierte *may* think it;s the same file!
