Default pinacle and my jvc hd camcorder

    Hi All,

I have just bought and used my new jvc hard drive camcorder, I used to have a panasonic dv. and using Pinacle 9, I captued my films fine and converted to dvd with no problems. I tried to do the same from my jvc but Pinacle drops hundreds of frames, stops capturing, then comes up with an error message and wont let me save my film for me to edit.

1.. am I doing something wrong?
2.. would I be better off with other software which is dedicated for hard drive camcorders?

3.. if so which one ?

thanks for reading this and your help if you have relied

mr twonk: I'm not sure how hard-disk camcorders work, but I think you're not supposed to capture anything, just transfer the produced video file from the camcorder's hard disk to that of your computer, then edit and burn the DVD. It should be the easiest thing.
Try this. If it doesn't work, post the exact model and specifications of your camera, so that we know what we're talking.
