Default HELP!!! Is this Camera supposed to have BAD QUALITY?

Hi everyone. I have recently purchased a panasonic pv-gs65,a nd the quality is horrible! I have only tried it indoors so far, and the video is horrible, so cheap looking. (grainy) Is there something wrong with my camera? i have seen a video on-line that someone made with the same camera, and the quality is unbeleivable!!! How do i get this type of quality? please help...thanks!

Are you talking about quality before or after capture? If after, how are you capturing?

Sorry for my stupidity..but what exactly do you mean by 'capture'. I am new to the camcorder world, but i do really want to get into it. What i am talking about is, when i hook it up to my TV using the RCA wires straight from camcorder...i havn't tried any other way.

Is your camera new or second hand? What was the light level like (oh look three words all starting with the same letter) indoors? Was the camera in tape mode and not some other mode? Was the output of the camera set to PAL (for the UK) and the same on the tv or NTSC if you are in the US?
