    IM LOOKING TO TAKE FOOTAGE FROM A DVD AND ADD IT INTO A MOVIE I AM CURENTLY EDITING ON IMOVIE HD. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DO THIS. THANKS

    YES . ILL BE USING A MAC SO WILL THE FAQ 10 WAY WORK (PROGRAMS). IM LOOKING TO TAKE VIDEO FROM A DISNEY MOVIE DVD AND ADD IT TO MY PROJECT ON IMOVIE.

    will virtual dub let me take just part of a DVD say in the middle of it like a 30 sec seen and rip it and keep the same quality and use it in a project?

    Not sure about it keeping the same quality, but VDubMod will let you chop and change any movie file, so you'll at least be able to load the MPEG2 DVD format and save it as something like a DV format file.
