Default Need help on Vegas 6 (can't see video, can hear Audio).

Hi this is my first post here so please be nice if this has been ask.

Well my problem is I just took a video of my cousin's car , when I put it on my computer I can view it in Windows Media Player 10 everything is fine, but when I try to get it in Vegas 6 to edit (need to blur license plate for privacy terms) it just comes up as a audio clip (can hear audio, can't see video).

    Here's what I mean

Now the video was taken from a FujiFilm S5500 Camera and it uses a xD card to store the photo's and Video's, but I used the provided USB cable to transfer it over to my pc.

Here is a link to the camera for more info

    *Edit*

Here's a PDF file showing everything about the camera, first page on the right, and is 1.67mb total.

So my question is how do I get the video to work in vegas 6?

All i have is the camera I have no special DV or HDV cards but my video card install the WMD's (windows media drivers).

Thank's for the Help in advance.

Your video is encoded with MotionJPEG, which it seems Vegas does not like. You will need to convert to another format before importing. See question 10 of the FAQ:

You most probablty need an MJPEG codec installed to convert (directx does the job of playing back in Media Player).

Doesnt matter I find one for free.

I have gotten it into Vegas 6, just got to add a blur (like you see on ppl faces on tv's like Cops etc etc) onto the license plate (also follow it) and see if I can get the filesize down to around 50MB or well atleast under 100mb because the current filesize is 260MB for a 1min and 2 second clip .

If you know how to do that please tell me.

    *edit*

Heres the free MotionJPEG codec I found, I think its free.
