Where to look for work???

I have to look for some jobs as part of my college course and I want to look into finding freelance work in video editing, sound and animation related areas. Anyone aware of good, no BS sites that cater for the latter?

Had a little look around but there seems to be a lot of crap out there.

I am new to this domain so I am looking for unpaid things now just to train my skills and have proper directions set.

I am looking for editing jobs or filming jobs in London.
I dont have yet a camcorder but if you go to a filming and need somebody to carry your ... stuff for free just contact me. I am willing to learn.
