I doubt that WMM has this function to be honest. I may be wrong, but a work around would be to complete one project, export to DV AVI, then import this video into the other.

Export one proj to a WMV file then import that into the other proj.

I would advise against exporting to WMV. The compression used does not lend itself well to either multiple encodes or editing.

    Got another question.

I tried the above, and as said, if I put it in WMV format it makes the sound all distorted, and if I put it in dv-avi format it is a lot better. the only problem I have got is that in the dv-avi format it has made the file nearly 8Gb, this is only for about 38min footage and now I have got both parts together the total time is 1hr 52mins, so that is obviously going to be miles to much for a DVD.

Does anyone know how I can get the sound quality but without the file having to be like 20GB? want to be able to fit it onto a DVD so 4.5GB is going to be the limit really!! :(

You say you want to put this on a DVD and therefore assume you want it playable in a standalone player. To do this you will have to author a DVD using software such as Ulead DVD MovieFactory.

How do I sort this problem out with the size, any ideas? or do you mean that this software will sort the problem.

Got a feeling my brother has got some DVD author software, but hes not in at the mo to ask!!

The authored DVD will use MPEG2 compression, meaning the file size will be reduced.
