Thread: Capture from DVD player using Canopus advc 100

Default Capture from DVD player using Canopus advc 100

Capturing video from VCR using ADVC 100 . No loss of video quality with rsulting .avi file. However if I insert dvd into vcr/dvd player and capture through ADVC 100 the resulting .avi has intermittant color shifting and picture quailty loss when replaying the .avi file.

I'm trying to avoid the DVD ripping process and just capture, edit, and burn the .avi file back to DVD.

Am I just too lazy or is this a realistic method?
