    Default DVD Importing

I have worked with premiere 1.5 and premiere elements 1.0
I am trying to get a few scenes ripped off the dvd troy, I got the first shorter clip off and was able to import it and edit it.

I now have two chapters that are a little longer converted to avis on a dvd that I am trying to add,
    it gives me this error:

    "unsupported audio rate in file"

Is there any type of progam that anyone knows of where I can edit the audio rate, or is there a way I can just import the video part and totally lose the audio (I dont really need the audio in the first place)

    ??

You could extract the audio from teh AVI using Adobe Audition. Once in, you can convert it to any bitrate you like.
