    Default Output Settings

    Hi

i am using the Sony FX1 HD camcorder and vegas 6 what i would like to know is what settings shell i output too? what is going to give me the best quality so it can be viewed on the big screen? once itís been rendered out am i going to get the same quality as the original footage? Itís going to be put onto DVD in the end so i need something a DVD player can read. Also once i have output the file and itís saved whatís the best program for burning it to DVD? also what is the average render time for 1 hour of video? will it depend up on how complex the seen is?

    Thanks

Your best bet is to export it as an uncvompressed AVI. This way it should remain as good as the original and will be more than adequete to re-encode as mpeg2 for your dvds.
