Thread: Anyone else got the Samsung D351?

Default Anyone else got the Samsung D351?

I'm having an issue with the Samsung D351.

I seem to have what I can only describe as vertical blinds down what I record in low light.

Not a major problem when encoding for computers, but for DVD and TV playback it is noticable. By me at least.

Does anyone else own this camera and do you have a similar problem?

    Hi Chris

When you say vertical blinds, do you mean light streaks, picture breakup (due to dirty or worn tape heads), is it only on the lcd screen and not when you have transferred the footage to computer? If you could elaborate a bit more on these 'vertical blinds' it would be helpful. How old is your camera, when was the last time it was serviced?

    Hi Nikosony,

Yes it's when I transfer to PC as well as being on the LCD. It's a brand new camera I bought a few weeks ago.

It's not breakup, it just appears as very feint vertical lines that are evenly spaced and stable but only in low light.

I'll try and get a screen grab to show what I mean.
