    Default ADOBE PREMIER 6 JPEG PROBLEM

    Hi, i have adobe premier 6 and i am trying to insert some pictures that are jpeg's, but the file extension is unavailable in the import section, does this require a plugin of somesort for it to work? in the user guide it says that jpeg's are an excepted fromat.

    No you don't need a plugin. It should work. Are you going to file>import>then finding the picture you are trying to use?

    This issue has been raised several times. Seems Premiere doesn't like the compression algorithm used. Don't always believe the file extension if you're not the one that encoded the video or image.

    Convert to an uncompressed bitmap image using your favoured image editor and import this. This method has worked 100% in the past.
