Sorry, but could you be a little clearer.

Do you just want to create subtitles that navigate or just scrolling subtitles?

Sorry for long reply. I want to create subtitles like they have on DVDs that you can turn on or off as an option. I saw they have that option in the windows media player and probably all the others to, now I just need to know how to utilize it.

I'm not sure if turning off whilst watching a DVD is possible in Vegas or DVD Architect. If it is I would like to know.

One way around this would be to create two videos, one with and one without, burn them to the DVD, with the option at the intro to see subtitles or not.

Darn, I know you can do it in Premiere. I saw it somewhere but can't remember where but some guy made a seperate file that goes with the movie I guess, or maybe sits in a folder with the video, I'm not sure. All I know is it allowed you to go into options on windows media player and turn subtitles on or off.

If anyone has any ideas let me know.

It might be worth rendering a test DVD, because I'm sure when you watch a DVD you have the option of turning off subtitles with your remote controls.

For instance if you Preview a Rendered project within DVD Architect you have the option to turn off subtitles in the control panel. (bottom right).

Try it and post back your findings.

But my aim is not for DVD, it's for internet release.

The only way I know how to do this is by:

    1) Creating your subtitles with something like Subtitle Workshop (excellent application that I'll have to review sometime)

    2) Using a filter such as vobsub to play them.
