    it takes FOREVER to export an AVI 3 minute movie! 20 minutes!!

    If you're unsure, go to http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php , download CPU-Z, run it and tell us what it says.

    Are you outputting as DV-avi? If its standard windows avi you might be using a compression method like cinepac if so this can take some time to render.
