Default Distortion in DV Capture from Video 8

    Hi
I using APP 6.5 and just captured some old Video 8 footage using Canon MVX200i's analogue to digital converter. I capturing it in PAL 720 x 576 format. When I view the avi file there is a small amount of distortion along the bottom portion of the frames. This distortion is not noticable when the Video 8 is connected to a TV. Any suggestions? Thanks.

This is outside of the safe area of your TV and therefore not visible. You will not need to do anything oif you intend to view the final output on a TV.

    Default Mono Channel Import

    Hello
I'm converting my old video 8 to DV via my Canon MVX200i. My video8 has mono audio only which imports into APP as 1 channel. When I create my DVD there's obviously one channel used. How do I get APP to import as a single mono channel? Or can I create a duplicate of the left channel in APP and mix it as a right channel. Thanks.
