I was very bored cause I was stood up by my flatmate so i did this. - No poin, no story just an intersting cut. It's very pretty

I liked it! You're not a Darren Aronofsky fan, are you?
That's pretty cool. Loved the edits. And I wasn't bored. (much)![]()

I'll play it next time I'm bored.
I loved this.
When I'm bored, I stare at my ceiling fan. I was wondering, how'd you do the screen lines, and the flickering. Oh, and how didja keep the quality up when you zoomed in on yourself while shooting the fridge shot the first time?

I'm glad everyone likes it. - There is only one part i dont like - the cicular insert of my eye while I'm shakin ma head by the bed. It was beautifully feathered and opaque but it just wouldn't render and I couldn't be arsed sorting it out.
Right - Screenlines and flicker were mostly using a Vegas effect called "TV Simulator" and just repositioning the picture with keyframes. As for the quality on the fridge zoom it was pretty straight forward. On most most video formats you can zoom the frame by up to 15-25% depending on the content before pixilation occurs. However as I shot this on Hi-8 and I knew I was gonna push the colour curves and the contrast - It was gonna be really grainy. Graininess covers up the pixilation so I was able to zoom it that lil bit more.Originally Posted by Llameante
