Thread: Reel-to-Reel Belt Replacement Time Lapse

  1. Default Reel-to-Reel Belt Replacement Time Lapse

I have a vintage Sony TC-388-4 quadraphonic open reel tape deck that mostly works, but it doesn't play reliably at 7-1/2 ips, and the counter wasn't working. Although I knew replacing the belts probably wouldn't fix the playback problem, I figured it would be a good thing to do anyway. So I set up a GoPro (Hero3+ Silver) and got to work.
