Default How do I create a continuous looping video?

    Hi,

Absolutely new to this forum as of today! I hope someone can help me with this ...

I have a short 1:20 minute clip of film edited in MAGIX Movie Studio 16.0 (I believe Sony sold the software to Magix, so it's not Sony anymore), not yet rendered. Ultimately, I want to place the clip onto a page of my new website so that it loops continuously on the page that it is set upon whilst the viewer looks at it and reads the page content.

How I get the final clip set onto the page correctly is something I must ask WIX about how I place it there (my hosting service).

I have been using Movie Studio Platinum on and off for a few years and my knowledge, although fairly basic is quite good, so I'd say I am a little more than a Newbie. I know about setting a Loop REGION and then when you render with this option selected, Movie Studio will just render the region of footage selected.

But how do I end up with a rendered clip that continually loops as a clip t?

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Ok,

    I have solved the problem.

The answer is to create the video first in Movie Studio, as you would any other video, then render it as normal. And I have found that the website allows to place the finished clip onto the web page with an option to have it loop! Problem solved!

    Thank you,

    regards,

    Lee

    Hi Lee,

I think a good option to make a continuously looping video is to turn it into a GIF, which is a type of file that always plays. There's an easy video editor I like to use for this kind of stuff called Kapwing, here's the link to where you can make a video continuously loop by turning it into a GIF: https://www.kapwing.com/tools/convert-video

All you do is upload the video file and then choose "GIF" as the output file.
