    Hello,

It is possible to recover a video file from an android phone if I did not save it.

It depends in what way it was "not saved" Generally it's not possible to film on a phone without saving it, that's the whole definition of filming. So if you didn't save it... how did you film it?
Did you receive an error message? Or did you forget to press record ?

Really? That's weird. Well if it's not in the gallery you may have some luck.
Maybe the data can be retrieved with a file recovery tool: https://www.fonepaw.com/tutorials/an...-recovery.html
An other option is that the camera app did save it but saved it into a placeholder file. Try to search for files that are large enough to be the created video file and which are created on the date and around the time when you recorded. If you do find a file that might be the video make a copy from it and add the usual file extension to it. (usually MP4) and try playing it. If it doesn't play you may want to try to fix it as well. Google for "fix broken MP4" (if your phone generally doesn't record in MP4 then change MP4 for the file extension that your phone uses).
