Default Moving video clips back and forth: MAC and PC

I use my PC for After Effects editing. I use an old MAC for Final Cut Pro editing. Will I encounter any gamma color issues moving clips back and forth?

Best is just try and see. Remember that every time you re-encode a file you'll generally lose data.

QuickTime container and H.264 at the highest quality seems to be good quality that doesn't take up huge file size.
My old FCP software is like 14 years old. I looking to switch to using Resolve by DaVinci. It's free.

    Definitely a good option H2.64
Resolve is also highly recommended. I haven't made the switch yet myself I must admit but if you have the time to master it you should definitely give it a go.
