Default Flying is awesome 2: Hang Gliding

It's been over 6 months when I had time to do my own production. I've been really busy and had only time to think new ideas that I would like to film. But NOW I had time to film some new clips with my friend!

It's filmed with my Sony A6300 with 16-50mm lens and Zhiyun Crane V2. I used SLOG2 but it makes very much noise. I found new settings for Cine4 and I'm going to try those next time.

I upgraded my DIY filming platform drone to Phantom 4 Advanced. The 1" sensor and adjustable aperture makes it really really good tool. And 25min flight times gives quite much time to find best spots to film. Highest shots aren't from Phantom those are from another glider. You can't fly here very high with drones.

Edited in Final Cut Pro X.

    Enjoy!

Yes, great video. Like the way it flows. Just a thought, I found the wind noise on some of the shots a little distracting, maybe something to edit out?? Just my thoughts, and overall very good.

Thanks! Yeah few db lower wind noise might work better.

I don't know my friend was flying. Take off is most dangerous part when flying with these. If something goes wrong and you have only 20-50m altitude you don't have time to fix the situation.

What impressed me most was the motivated camera movements at the beginning. 12 secs in particular.

IMHO: Nicely composed shots, especially at the start. I liked the pacing of the editing and really liked the way you let the images tell the story without trying to add camera tilts, zooms and stuff.
