Default Tried to convert and copy DVD file onto CD-R

I was atempting to copy some video files off a DVD and used a program called DVD ĖTo-Mpeg. The program did it. I then burned these files off my hard drive to a CD-R. The files are only about 400MB each. The files play fine on the hard drive but they donít do anything when I try to play them off the CD-R I burn to from the hard drive. Whatís wrong here??

Also I have other programs available like Adobe Premirer 1.5 but dodnít know how to use it, did I use the wrong program wrong process?

To play Video CD (VCD) in a standalone player, you need to author the VCD using software. Take a look at these guides: http://www.videohelp.com/convert#4;11
