Edit text in VSDC Video Editor

I'm Soooo frustrated! I have text in a scene in VSDC. I want to edit it... but I can't seem to be able to grab it to edit it. You'd think I should be able to right click on the text layer in the scene and find edit... not so. Even when I select the text layer and click in the screen I can't get it to pop up much of the time. Ideas?
