    Default Video Editing

    Hello,

I like editing some of my vids just for the fun of it, and I have a question. When you see in commercials\movies etc. really smooth slow-motion (where it goes REALLY slow, yet the movement is so smooth u can't detect individual frames). Is that because the recording is with a highly professional camera which has like a gazillion fps? or is it also other things? Any info would be nice

    Thanks

    in a word yes!
When doing slow mo professionally they use high frame rate cameras.
An example is nature programs - When they showwing a humming bird flap its wings, these cameras run at about 400fps.

It is poss to do smooth slo mo but its a slow process. Look at this post for details on how to do it.
