    Default Lake District Slideshow

I've been very busy this year doing "stuff" so it was nice to take a bit of time over the Christmas break to play around with some editing. I found a Vegas template to do slide shows but by the time I'd finished it would have been quicker to have started from scratch but I am grateful to people who take the time and effort to make them available to "the internet".

I think I've ended up with a fine example of how not to make a slideshow as all the "whistles & Bells" just distracts from the pretty pictures.

    I hope someone enjoys it.

Ha Ha. Don't be sorry Tim. Perhaps a younger person may like it.

The music and pictures worked well together , especially around 1:01

Apart from being an exercise in getting to know the pan/crop tool, one of the things I'm pleased with is that I took a Dido song and kept it's essence but changed it enough to not get caught by YouTube's copyright software.

Which of course is why I did it. I like to have a go at "different things" occasionally. I just thought the original that I did was too boring and wanted to "jazz it up" a bit but of course I went too far.

It sounds like MB needs to create a second user account on this forum where he can just try stuff out without having to stake his rep on it - maybe next month a new user named "12AM Azure" will show up and dazzle us with animations of the horsehead nebula

Ha Ha. As if I have anything resembling a reputation.

I love the lake district and there were some great pics there...
I love that Dido track and im assuming if t wasn't for you tube you would have kept the track "normal", but I didn't like what you did with it but understand why
yes the transitions were over the top, but some of them worked and worked well, with either the music or picture improvement...

coz I've been there a fair few times you had me watching till the end though :thumbs
